These Terms of Service govern your use of The Bin and related services. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
You agree to use The Bin lawfully, responsibly, and in good faith. You may not use the service for abuse, unauthorized access, harassment, fraud, evasion of restrictions, or any activity that violates applicable law.
By using the service, you acknowledge that access may be limited by role, subscription status, safety controls, and anti-abuse systems. These controls are part of normal platform operation and are required to keep the service stable.
You are responsible for independently reviewing any content you use and for maintaining your own backups, compliance checks, and account hygiene.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If your jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age, that higher age requirement applies.
If required by local law, parental or guardian permission is your responsibility. Misrepresenting age to bypass restrictions may result in enforcement.
Some features require login and active authorization. You are responsible for account security and all actions performed through your account.
Access is granted only to the authorized user and may not be shared, resold, transferred, rented, or otherwise provided to others.
After a flagged event, we may require additional verification before restoring full access.
You are responsible for content you upload, link, or request. You confirm you have rights to use that content and that it does not violate third-party rights.
Many files available through the service may include ripped game assets obtained without explicit permission from original creators or rights holders. By downloading, accessing, or using these files, you accept all legal, account, moderation, and enforcement risk at your own discretion.
We are not required to preserve removed content or provide restoration when urgent safety/legal action is needed.
Metadata, thumbnails, and preview images may be cached locally or shown via fallback content when original upstream media is unavailable.
The following behavior is prohibited whether performed manually or through automation:
Attempting, coordinating, or assisting prohibited behavior may be treated the same as directly performing it.
We may suspend, restrict, remove, or permanently ban accounts and remove related server access if we reasonably believe there is policy abuse, security risk, or legal risk.
Enforcement may be immediate and without prior notice. Measures may include warnings, temporary lockouts, timed download restrictions, partial feature removal, suspension, permanent ban, and community/server removal where applicable.
We may preserve internal logs required for abuse prevention, security review, appeals, and legal compliance.
If you believe enforcement was applied in error, appeals must be submitted by directly messaging staff through the official Discord support path.
Appeals are reviewed case-by-case. Submission does not guarantee reinstatement, reversal, or response within a specific timeline.
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features may change, pause, be rate-limited, or be removed to maintain security, reliability, and legal compliance.
Maintenance, provider outages, third-party API changes, and infrastructure incidents can impact access or performance.
The site is not currently known to be region-blocked; however, availability may still vary by ISP, network policy, or legal environment.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, permanent file availability, or specific response times.
Public route access can differ from protected route access (for example list/browse pages vs subscriber-only actions), and access rules may change over time for safety/compliance reasons.
Access may be suspended or revoked for terms violations, abuse, operational risk, or legal risk. Violating content may be removed at any time.
You may stop using the service at any time. Account-closure requests can be submitted to support and are processed subject to retention and compliance requirements.
Termination does not erase responsibility for actions taken before enforcement.
If paid access, subscriptions, or premium features are offered, you agree to pay applicable fees. Refunds may be granted in specific cases and are reviewed individually.
Approved refund timelines depend on the payment provider and may not be immediate.
Service software, design, branding, and internal systems are protected intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape at scale, republish, or mirror service components unless expressly allowed.
Nothing in these terms grants ownership or transfer of platform IP, trademarks, branding, or proprietary systems.
The name "The Bin" is simply a chosen service name. It has no connection, affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or official relationship with Warhammer, Games Workshop, or any related intellectual property.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from platform use.
This includes data loss, account loss, service interruption, third-party enforcement actions, and outcomes resulting from downloaded files or external API behavior.
We may collect operational data such as account identifiers, request metadata, moderation actions, and security logs to run and protect the platform.
This may include request-path, IP, and User-Agent logging, usage counters (such as avatar views/downloads), and feature telemetry needed for abuse prevention and service reliability.
Operational logs may be retained for up to 1 year for support, abuse prevention, investigation, and system integrity purposes.
Where legally permitted and necessary for disputes, safety, or legal compliance, relevant records may be retained longer.
We do not guarantee indefinite storage of user content unless explicitly stated.
The Bin does not make profile/account changes on your third-party account by default. The service uses authenticated sessions to communicate with APIs required for platform features.
Third-party providers can change their API, policies, and enforcement at any time; we are not responsible for those external changes.
Some features may display, link, or process third-party-hosted content (including images/files) that are controlled by those providers and can change or disappear without notice.
If scraping, bulk harvesting, or abusive automated download behavior is detected, the service may temporarily time out download access before more downloads are allowed.
Repeated abuse can trigger stricter enforcement, including longer restrictions or permanent account action.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
If you do not agree with updated terms, you must stop using the service.

Your use of the Service is subject to applicable law. State, county, provincial, and country-level laws where you are located may limit or prohibit certain actions on the Service, and you are solely responsible for compliance.
If local law conflicts with any use you attempt, local law controls your allowed conduct. The Service may restrict or remove access when required by legal or policy obligations.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
Before formal legal action, you agree to attempt a good-faith resolution through support/staff contact. We may choose to resolve disputes through direct review, negotiated settlement, or other lawful mechanisms.
Where legally enforceable, claims should be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class action unless local law requires otherwise.
Rights holders may submit takedown requests through official support channels. Requests should include enough detail to identify the content and ownership basis. We may remove, disable, or restrict content while review is in progress.
We may also remove metadata, cache entries, previews, and related links associated with a validated takedown request.
Users who repeatedly upload, request, or distribute infringing or prohibited content may face escalating enforcement up to permanent account and server removal.
You may not use The Bin to catalog, mirror, or redistribute service content through external index sheets, public directories, mirrors, or rehosted archives without explicit permission.
To protect the Service, we may monitor usage patterns, request behavior, moderation signals, and security logs. You should not expect private handling of operational metadata when investigation is required for abuse prevention, legal compliance, or platform safety.
You represent that your use of the Service does not violate sanctions, export controls, or other legal restrictions that apply to you.
We may assign, transfer, or reorganize operation of the Service. You may not transfer your account, permissions, or rights under these terms without explicit written permission.
We are not liable for delays, downtime, or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, including provider outages, infrastructure failure, cyberattacks, legal orders, or natural disasters.
If one provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full effect. Failure to enforce any provision once is not a waiver of future enforcement. These terms, together with any clearly posted service policies, form the entire agreement regarding use of the Service.
You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction, including any restrictions related to copyright, digital content handling, data access, and platform policies.
You must protect your account access and actively monitor misuse. Any token/session leakage, shared access, or negligence that allows unauthorized use can be treated as a policy violation.
When using request-driven features, you agree to provide accurate identifiers and to avoid spam, duplicates, or abuse of queue systems.
Uploads must be lawful, non-malicious, and reasonably accurate in labeling. You are responsible for metadata quality (titles, tags, descriptors) and for avoiding deceptive or harmful uploads.
Downloaded content is for your authorized use only under these terms. You may not use the Service as a source for downstream redistribution networks, mirrors, reseller bundles, or unauthorized archives.
Non-human access methods (scripts, bots, scrapers, crawlers) are restricted unless explicitly permitted by the Service.
Some pages are publicly viewable while specific actions remain protected. Visibility of a page does not imply permission to perform protected actions on that page.
You consent to service-related operational messaging needed to run your account and requests, including status notifications, access-change notices, and enforcement communications through supported channels.
These are transactional/operational communications and not a marketing subscription.
Content, metadata, and tooling provided by the Service are informational/operational only and are not legal, financial, security, or professional advice.
You are responsible for independent verification and risk assessment before acting on any information obtained through the Service.
Terms concerning liability limits, indemnification, enforcement records, intellectual property, legal compliance, and dispute handling survive account closure or termination to the extent allowed by law.
